Save the date for the SIGSCV fashion show

Mark your calendars as Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley (SIGSCV) will strut the catwalk once again at its 10th annual Fashion Show and Boutique on Sunday November 14, 2021. Our theme this year is “Making Dreams Come True” where we will feature stars from Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital who have been the front lines of the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fashion show and boutique will take place in the beautiful Hyatt Regency Valencia, with the boutique opening at 10 a.m. and the fashion show starting at noon. Chaired by Sandi Naba and Co-Chairs Lissa Mahler and Krystina Reyes, the afternoon promises live entertainment, provided by Tommy Peacock and D’Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment, and fun for all involved. Tara Rice, Contest Founder / Coach, Miss West Coast Productions, Inc. will produce and direct the fashion show while Ed Masterson entertains the audience as emcee.
Soroptimist International is a global organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to become economically empowered. Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley has hosted numerous events, raising thousands of dollars to help improve the lives of women and girls around the world and in our community.
This year’s fashion show will also include a segment that will highlight the Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women and Dream, Be It: Career Support for Girls programs. Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream Rewards Program is a unique educational award for women who provide the primary financial support to their families; it gives women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. The Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls program gives girls the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, enabling them to break cycles of poverty, violence and abuse. It will also help girls grow into strong, successful and happy adults.
Sponsorship opportunities are always available. Your generous assistance will help the organization continue to fund its programs and achieve SIGSCV’s mission of helping women and girls around the world and in our own community. The fashion show funds will go to the three pillars of SIGSCV: Women’s Health, Women in Crisis and Celebration of Women. Your financial support will also help fund scholarships for single women supporting families returning to college through SIGSCV’s Live Your Dream Award.
