To celebrate Earth Day, the Prescott Valley Public Library’s Young Adult (YA) Department is hosting a live after-hours teen recycled fashion show. On Friday April 22, teens aged 12-18 will have the chance to show off their fashion savvy and explore their unique creative side!

This fashion show will be a judged event with prizes awarded to the top three entrants!

Take part in the Teen Recycled Parade

Interested in participating in the Earth Day Teen Recycled Fashion Show but have little to no sewing skills? Join the extraordinary Rose DeSimone, expert designer of wedding and ceremony dresses, for two FREE sewing sessions.

The sessions, scheduled for Tuesday, April 5 and April 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., will be held at the Prescott Valley Public Library, 7401 Skoog Blvd, Prescott Valley.

For consideration, all clothing and accessories will be made from previously used and reused materials and fabrics. Show participants must be between the ages of 12 and 18. To sign up to participate, register at https://yavapai.events/ and search for the Earth Day Teen Recycled Fashion Show. Be sure to register early, places are limited.

Want to show your support for our fashion stars? Come show your support on Friday, April 22, EARTH DAY! Doors open at 5:15 p.m.

This event is free but registration is required. Register to reserve your spot at https://yavapai.event. Be sure to reserve your spot as soon as space is limited.

The Teen Recycled Fashion Show will be held at the Prescott Valley Public Library Auditorium, 7410 Skoog Blvd, Prescott Valley.
