She discussed her loss under a People Instagram post, where Dancing With The Stars singer Peta Murgatroyd opened up about losing a pregnancy with husband Maks Chmerkovskiy.

Since her miscarriage, Sharon has adopted three sons, Roan, 22, Laird, 16 and Quinn, 15.

Opening up about her own experience of pregnancy loss, Sharon wrote: ‘We as women have no forum to discuss the depth of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage.

“It’s not nothing, physically or emotionally,” continued the star – who has three adopted sons.
