Fashion Gray is not a new color in the BMW portfolio. The unique shade of gray has been part of the BMW individual program for at least a decade and has already found its way onto many M cars. Porsche inspired color
According to colors.rs, Fashion Gray is a vintage Porsche paint job dating back to 1950-53. Some BMW customers describe Fashion Gray as having a green tint in darker light conditions while being very bright in the sun. Price and power
The standard BMW M3 comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that develops 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. All that power is sent to the rear wheels. The M3 Competition uses the same engine but develops 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque and gets an eight-speed automatic as the only option, along with rear-wheel drive. Finally, the Competition xDrive uses the same powertrain as the Competition but benefits from all-wheel drive.
